REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

(a) Remove the 6 clips and fender apron seal.

3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL REAR RH

(a) Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

(a) Remove the 6 clips and fender apron seal.

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL REAR LH

(a) Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.

6. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE 3UR-FE STARTING: STARTER: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

7. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD) DRIVE SHAFT / PROPELLER SHAFT: FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

8. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) DRIVE SHAFT / PROPELLER SHAFT: FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY



(a) Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the front No.2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

(c) Disconnect the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly and from exhaust pipe support.

(d) Remove the 2 gaskets.

(e) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

(f) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

(g) Remove the 3 bolts, No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly and gasket.

10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

(b) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector and 2 clamps.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe.

(d) Remove the 3 nuts, front exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets.

11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR



(a) Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 4 floor heat insulator.

12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR



(a) Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 3 floor heat insulator.

13. REMOVE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Put matchmarks on the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly and steering intermediate shaft.

(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly from the steering intermediate shaft.

(c) Put matchmarks on the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly and the power steering gear.

(d) Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly from the power steering gear.

14. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

15. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 10 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH and 2 gaskets.

16. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

17. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 10 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH and 2 gaskets.
